Piemonte's food is famed for the quality of the local produce thanks to the fertility of its soil . We remind you the "truffles", the mushrooms (porcini), the hazel-nuts (do you know Nutella ?), the rice (the best in Europe), the meat and the vegetables . We have also a great tradition in Cheese production and , above all , a great production of Wine !! Wine is a must on every Piedmontese table ! |

gastronomy is the varied list of "hors d'oeuvre"
whether warm or cold .

Peculiar Piemonte's dishes are : Bagna Cauda (raw diced vegetables dipped in a hot sauce done with oil , garlic and anchovies) and Fritto Misto (a mix of many different kind of fried bread-crumbed food ; the only missing is...fish!!). |

There are also many kind of cheese . We remind you only the most famous of them: Ricotta , Gorgonzola , Fontina and Grana Padano . There are many others not so famous but very good , produced by local artisans . |
