Our  own....cyber-adventure  began  about  one  year  ago. I  was  using  my  PC  only  from  time  to  time  to  send  e-mails (Hi , Joan !) .        At  the  beginning  of  this  year (2000) I  met  the  "World  Wide  Recipes"  and  that  changed  my  life ! I  sent  a  recipe  and  I  had  a  lot  of  replies ! Maybe  I  was  the  first  Italian  sending  a  recipe !        All  those  friends  asking  me  about  my  country...Where  are  you ?...Where  in  Italy ?....etc..

So  my  husband  and  I  started  thinking : "Why  don't  we  try  to  create  a  site  about  Piemonte (P- M- on - teh)?"  A  really  crazy  idea !!  I've  been  using  my  PC  for  just  one  year  and  my  husband  used  it  only  sometimes  to  programme  in  Basic , nothing  to  do  with  the  Net ! Anyway  we  are  doing  it !

We  have  a  daughter , Alessandra , and  a  son , Enrico.

We  are  also  grand-parents  and  we  wrote  this  site  as  an  old  fairy-tale  to  amuse  our  adorable  Fatina !               We  have  also  two  cats , a  tortoise  and  all  the  animals  you  can  find  in  a  country  garden  (spyders , ants  and   worms  that  are  fond  of  our  apples !)

We  are  doing  it  with  much  love  for  our  country  and  for  our  american  pen-pals ,who  encouraged  us  with  so  much  enthusiasm !         Thank  you  a  lot , from  my  husband  and  I !!        We  apologize   again  for  our  English  but , as  you  know , this  is  a  home-made  site !

We  have  joined  as  distant  members  the  Seattle  ring  of  food  lovers  and  we  took   occasion  of  their  last  meeting (March  9  2002) to  send  them  a  basket  filled  with  typical  Piedmontese  goodies  (see  "Gogopicnic"  site  in  our  Links  page) . They  are  very  lovable  people  and  sent  us  the  wonderful  photo  you   can  see  on  the  right !

A lot  of  friends  are  asking  us  for  more  news  about  our  life !  So  we  decided  to  add  some  pages  with  more  information  about  our  family  and  about  the  place where  we  are  living .  As  usual  the  good   Web - Hosts  have  a  Guestbook  !         Any  suggestion  will  be  much  appreciated .
