And now we go grocery shopping !

Nine o' clock a.m. Pippo is parking and Claudia is going into the bakery where a good smell of bread gives her a warm welcome !

     It's very difficult to choose among such a lot of loaves !!
    They have several different shapes and ingredients . Besides the traditional bread you can find also bread with olives , nuts , sesame-seeds , potatoes , pumpkin , chocolate etc..
   Our favorite daily bread is the traditional one called "ciabatta"
(slipper) .

Look at this wonderful focaccia whith little tomatoes (we call them cherry-tomatoes) and rucola .

     We are used to eat a soft big grissino still warm before we go to our coffee-shop .
    Our friends Dave and Joan said they drunk here the best cappuccino of their life !

We can find here also wonderful manufactured ice-cream and icy cakes.

     Pippo is drinking his espresso coffee while the smiling Bruno
(the Cafè owner) gives him some gardening advice ... he is fond of flowers !

Burdisso , our wine-merchant , has his own vineyard and produces a very good red wine . We are used to drink his Barbera when we are dining .

The butcher's shop is full of award flags that were won for the good quality of the meat , obviously of Piedmontese breed .

   Here is our greengrocer !! Don't judge from appearances !! Vegetables are a limited local produce and absolutely not chemically treated !! We can enjoy the same good flavour we were using to taste when   we were young!! In the first picture   you can see below several varieties of lettuce , typical of Piemonte .
We introduce to you Massimo and his sister Marzia , they are very nice indeed!!
Marzia showing a strawberries box . Strawberries , raspberries , blackberries etc. are a typical   product of this area .

We eat also pork meat and now we go into our pork-butchery that is very well known around here . They produce also very good salami , ham , sausages etc..
